SLOWSONG

In 1962 in my first band, The Napa Four, we pretty much knew only two types of songs. Fast songs, all with a straight beat and 12-bar blues pattern; and slow songs, all with the ubiquitous C-Am-F-G7 chord pattern. My amp has a pattern like that called "Ladies Man' and it's an invitation to mindless meandering.

ANSWER TO LAST NIGHT'S QUESTION: What was that film and who was the guitarist? Alas, it was Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap. Mindless meandering exercises in anarchy.
