Ramble House has published many odd books over the past decade and a half and this is one of the oddest. It's a none-too-subtle spoof of the breathless style of THE DA VINCI CODE with the famous painting of the dogs playing poker taking the role and significance of Da Vinci's painting of the Last Supper. All of the cliffhanging chapter endings and over-the-top internal monologues are amplified from the original inspiration, and that sounds a little scary. But it's all a lot of fun and if you are a collector of spoofs, this is a book you must have.
