RUBY OF A THOUSAND DREAMS

by Roland Daniel

Another Wu Fang Novel of Creative Villainy

Roland Daniel wrote several novels about the Chinese villain Wu Fang back in the 30s and this is one from 1933 which features, in addition to the yellow peril, a young British agent named Mary Francis and a redheaded detective-inspector named John Walk. Thanks to the arch-villain, the two personable characters are literally thrown together in a dank prison, where they must fight their way to freedom before tackling the evil Celestial.

If you enjoyed the yellow peril novels of our grandfathers you'll get a kick out of the machinations and deviltries of Wu Fang, and along with me, will look forward to more of the yellow dastard's adventures from Ramble House in the future.
