1969 was a hell of a year, wasn't it? That's when Richard Lupoff wrote this paean to psychedelia. Back then it had an introduction by the youngish Mr. Lupoff and a literary fan, Paul DiFilippo. Now, more than 40 years later, a somewhat olderish Mr. Lupoff tells you what he thinks about all of the hooplah in a brand new introduction.
The story hasn't changed and the effects of that wonderful period in American history are still being felt, but it sure is fun reading it all over again. You owe it to the idealistic go-getter you used to be.
